Cancelation Policy (All Sanctuary Special Programming): If you register for a workshop or event and you do not show up, you forfeit your pass. Postpartum Yoga with Baby (6-Week Series)
This series is designed for those who have recently given birth and are looking to reconnect with their bodies and their breath in shared space with other new parents and babies. We'll practice gentle and rejuvenating poses, work on regaining core and pelvic integration, and learn techniques for breathing and moving with our little ones. This is a welcoming space for queer and trans postpartum students; everyone is welcome.

In this warm nest of co-creation with Black, Indigenous, People of Color we connect to our embodied yoga practice in community. We will explore ways to move our bodies and to nourish all dynamics of our whole self. We move at the speed of breath and find rest in the pause between, this series honors the flow of prāna, finding center and allowing for what movement arises authentically from within.

Each month we will dig deep into a certain aspect of the moon (mythology, lunar cycles, moon magic, history of the moon, etc). The full moon is a time to release what is holding us back, and we will do that through ritual and energy clearing techniques in a circle: clearing what we are ready to release.

Yoga Nidra is the systematic art of relaxation. This workshop will explore the science of yoga nidra through the lenses of contemporary neuroscience as well as ancient, embodied wisdom. When we enter deep relaxation- an awake state between waking, dreaming, and sleep- we find access to our subconscious and the unified field of consciousness.

During this workshop you will be exploring tools to stretch existing patterns and try new ways to talk, touch and be together. This "retreat" will be a chance to step out of the every day and into a zone of deep relaxation. The retreat will begin with gentle movement that will transition participants into a specific type of guided meditation called yoga nidra. Often translated as "yogic sleep", yoga nidra is a state of relaxation, where the body "sleeps", the mind remains conscious, and deep restoration and rejuvenation can take place.

You will be guided through a mindful touch and movement practice. We will work slowly, with care and respect for our body as well as our partner's, as we learn to listen through the skin. The effects of touch are far-reaching, including emotional, physical, and cognitive wellbeing and improvement. Touch boosts dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin—the hormones associated with making people feel good—and lowers cortisol levels which are associated with stress.

CANCELED: Elements of Contact - A Contact Improv Workshop
Using the elements of Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Ether as our guides, we will cultivate these qualities in ourselves and our dances. Through movement exercises, we will practice basic skills for dancing Contact Improvisation and deepen our sense of connection to self, other, and the environment. Each session in this series is offered as a stand-alone class, beginning with Earth as the principal theme.

Intro to Qi Gong
In this two-afternoon weekend intensive, come and explore the healing meditative body-movement of qi gong. The qi gong practice is a cultivation of self, the breath and the body through the transmission of these ancient forms developed by studying nature. We will start with practice, opening ourselves up to the early afternoon, and aligning the qi (life energy) within ourselves and our surrounding environment. After practice, we will share tea and engage in discussion about qi gong and the experience of the practice.

Y12SR Peer Support Guide Certification
The Y12SR Peer Support Guide Certification is a 36-hour immersive training designed to equip you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to lead Yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR) meetings in your community.. Offered both in-person and online, this final step in certification will prepare you to confidently guide and support Y12SR meetings in your community.

Planting Seeds of Resistance w/ Loretta Ross & Marlene Fried
We'll be in conversation with Loretta Ross and Marlene Fried about their new co-authored book, Abortion and Reproductive Justice: An Essential Guide for Resistance. Loretta is a MacArthur Fellow, a co-founder of SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective, and one of the people who coined the term, reproductive justice, in 1994. Marlene is professor emerita of philosophy at Hampshire College, a co-founder of the National Network of Abortion Funds, and a co-founder of ARFWM.

Full Moon Circle (In-Studio)
Each month we will dig deep into a certain aspect of the moon (mythology, lunar cycles, moon magic, history of the moon, etc). The full moon is a time to release what is holding us back, and we will do that through ritual and energy clearing techniques in a circle: clearing what we are ready to release.
Yoga for Nervous System Regulation (4-Week Series) (In-Studio)
In this workshop, we will focus on Nervous System Regulation through centering on inner self care. We will explore the following techniques to work with the body to bring into balance our nervous system:
inviting choice and curiosity in your personal practice
noticing sensations while naturally breathing
practicing presencing and mindfulness
creating shapes or poses with our bodies
inviting playfulness and compassion

Kids Somatics
Join the Northampton Parents Center for this experiential workshop will offer body- and breath-based tools for nervous system regulation. Participants will leave with specific practices for settling their minds and bodies using accessible movements, mindful attention, and social connection.
Postpartum Yoga with Baby (6-Week Series, In-Studio, Masks Required)
This series is designed for those who have recently given birth and are looking to reconnect with their bodies and their breath in shared space with other new parents and babies. We'll practice gentle and rejuvenating poses, work on regaining core and pelvic integration, and learn techniques for breathing and moving with our little ones. This is a welcoming space for queer and trans postpartum students; everyone is welcome.
Elements of Contact - A Contact Improv Workshop
Using the elements of Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Ether as our guides, we will cultivate these qualities in ourselves and our dances. Through movement exercises, we will practice basic skills for dancing Contact Improvisation and deepen our sense of connection to self, other, and the environment. Each session in this series is offered as a stand-alone class, beginning with Earth as the principal theme.

Immerse yourself in this blissful workshop of movement and sound meditation. This 90-minute Yoga & Sound workshop combines a revitalizing yoga practice with the deeply relaxing and restorative benefits of sound meditation.
CANCELED: Infused Herbal Oils & Salves (In-Studio)
Infused oils allow herbalists to transfer the healing properties of herbs into oils which can then be used to create salves, lotions, compresses, and more. In this workshop we will discuss 3 different methods of making infused herbal oils. There will be a demonstration on how to make infused oils and salves. All participants go home with a jar of salve made in class.
Biodanza: the Dance of Life
These open Biodanza sessions are an opportunity to bring into your life an expanding space of ease, integration, co-regulation and renewal. Transformative ground from which to move with this transformative time. We are growing it together! With guided movement and beautiful music, we'll practice shifting our state, moving out of stress and into flow, unwind and tone our nervous systems, cultivate our innate creativity, vitality and presence, and return to our most essential selves, so that our dances allow new possibilities to unfold.

In these monthly gatherings, Jorie will work with a combination of crystal bowls, temple bells, and chimes. These instruments work with the principles of resonance, entrainment, and cellular healing in promoting general relaxation, resetting the nervous system, restoring mental clarity, and aiding in cellular restoration.
