This unique series weaves yoga, gentle somatic practices and expressive writing to foster reconnection with our body's innate wisdom and empower our authentic creative voice.
About the Class
Our bodies hold memories and emotions, old traumas and deep wisdom. Through a balance of gentle somatic movements and empowering yoga poses, we will cultivate a deep internal awareness (interoception) to release chronic tension and calm the nervous system. As we liberate this energy, we create a clear channel for self-expression.
Following our movement practices, we will transition into guided, stream-of-consciousness writing exercises. This is a space free from judgment and editing, where your words can pour forth effortlessly, directly from your body's felt sense onto the page.
What to Expect
Somatic Movement: Gentle, non-judgmental movement practices focusing on the internal felt sense, rather than external form.
Yoga Practice: Breathe and move in a balanced flow where alignment supports your body’s freedom
Expressive Writing: Guided prompts for stream-of-consciousness writing, inviting insight and integration (no requirement to share)
Inner Connection: This series will strengthen your sense of agency, ignite your creativity, and give voice to what has been waiting patiently within you.

Sara Rose Page offers classes rooted in healing and connection. Alongside 34 years of teaching yoga and yoga philosophy, she has also completed The Integrative Trauma Somatic Therapy certification with The Embody Lab.

Cancelation Policy (All Sanctuary Special Programming): If you register for a workshop or event and you do not show up, you forfeit your pass. We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for reservation cancelations. Please email us at studio@yoga-sanctuary.com if you cannot make it, so we can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist. We are unable to offer credits or refunds.
