2nd Annual Retreat Day (3/6/26)
Join us for a day of embodiment, reflection, and connection
For the benefit of local non-profit staff and board members
The need for justice and equity within our community demands constant attention, and we are grateful for the countless local organizations, committees, and activist groups working toward this goal. Sanctuary is a community partner to these organizations and groups, with the intent to raise awareness and encourage action through our ongoing Community Spotlight Series (see listing of participating orgs below).
We’re excited to welcome all staff and board members from our partner organizations to the Community Spotlight Retreat Day! We know how hard y'all work and the toll it takes to be of constant service to others, so please let our passionate and generous group of Collective members treat you and your colleagues to a day of restoration and connection. If you have any questions about the offerings or registration process please be in touch with us <studio@yoga-sanctuary.com>.
Schedule of events
9:15–10:30am
Kripalu Yoga (Level I) w/ Rebecca Ossorio
A gentle Hatha Yoga based practice rooted in compassion, that emphasizes self-observation without judgement and the connection between body, mind, spirit and each other. We begin with an invitation for centering, followed by alignment-focused warm-ups and poses that are accompanied by guidance for self-inquiry and breathwork, moving towards meditation-in-motion and concluding in deep relaxation (savasana). Level I yoga includes basic poses and supportive cues. Slower-paced movement builds alignment, breath, and flow. Beginners always welcome. Please note, this is one of our public yoga classes so there will be participants who won’t be a part of the Retreat Day.

The Energy Audit w/ Celia Maysles
Many people feel depleted, are functioning on autopilot, and feel drained and out of touch with their deepest selves. In this workshop we will slow down and connect to ourselves and each other. We will take inventory of what is sucking our energy as well as what feeds our energy, and everything in between. Then, with attention, we will turn our knowledge into power by co-creating concrete, actionable steps to increase our energy and inner joy. You will leave feeling more aligned with your truest self, and more energized for the days ahead.

7–8:30pm
Full Moon Circle w/ Katherine Harris
Because the full moon is a time of letting go and seeing things that are often hidden in the light of the bright moon, we will do an intention setting and releasing process using methods like journaling, EFT, or visualization. We will raise energy together either by singing, dancing, chanting, or playing instruments – we’ll see what unfolds each month. And, we will focus that energy on the intentions/goals we have created for the next lunar cycle. After the energy is raised we will ground and center again. Please note, this is one of our public yoga classes so there will be participants who won’t be a part of the Retreat Day.
