Taina is a holistic mental health counselor, somatic ritualist, CI dance teacher, mother, and educator. In her private practice, Emerge Holistic Therapy, she works with individuals and couples seeking support for emotional and relational challenges. She graduated from Lesley University's Masters program in Holistic Mental Health Counseling in 2008 and see clients in Southern Vermont and remotely.

Taina has been facilitating groups, including spaces for grief support, nature connection, ancestral repair, rites of passage, and consent since 2007. She has brought movement, ritual, and consent practices to children and adults in various community settings. Her work with groups and individuals is informed by Ancestral Lineage Healing, Circling, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Contact Improvisation, Animist Ritual, and Buddhist meditation practices.

Taina provides guidance that supports safety, expression, repair and reflection for her students. As a facilitator, Taina is one part playful mischievous elf, one part temple priestess, one part mother. She incorporates traditional knowledge and practices from ancestral lineages originating in Finland, Italy, Ireland, Lithuania, and the Balkans, as well as teachings that have been gifted from lineages other than her own.
