with Kate Hennessey

The effects of climate change can be seen everywhere in the natural world. Loss of species, unseasonable temperatures, and untimely freezes and floods here in the Connecticut River Valley create anxiety about the state of the planet. Many people agree that climate change is impacting the environment, but what’s often overlooked is the emotional impact it has on us.

Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT, is a powerful and accessible modality that grants us permission to say our feelings aloud while affirming how we’d like to feel in response to this stress. It’s saying, “even though I feel upset about the state of the planet, it’s okay to feel this way. I trust that I am doing my part to care for myself and the Earth.”

This workshop begins with a centering and grounding meditation. Kate will give a brief explanation of the tapping process and guide you with phrases and affirmations to let go of climate stress and increase feelings of calm and inner peace. The workshop will also include time for questions and answers with Kate so that you can learn how to do tapping effectively on your own.

Participants will receive a tapping guide and a recorded tapping audio exercise upon registering for this workshop. Please bring a journal or notebook, water, and an open mind.

Whether you're new to EFT or looking to deepen your understanding and practice, this workshop offers a supportive environment to release your stress and embody a calmer state of being. Together, let's foster emotional resilience and a sense of hope for a more sustainable and harmonious future.
