Yoga & Your Pelvic Floor for Birthing Bodies at All Stages (In-Studio)

  • Sanctuary 150 Main Street Northampton, MA, 01060 United States (map)

Join us for a nurturing workshop designed for individuals at all stages of the birthing experience: whether you’re thinking about carrying a baby, are currently pregnant or gestating, or have given birth, this workshop will help you explore your own connection with your pelvic floor, fostering strength, flexibility, and mindfulness.

Sanctuary yoga instructor Sebastian Merrill (he/him) and Em Ike (they/them), OTR/L, pelvic floor therapist, will guide participants through gentle yoga sequences and breathwork specifically curated to support the unique needs of birthing bodies at all stages, with pelvic floor education and guidance interwoven into our practice to help you deepen your understanding of your own pelvic health. Learn techniques to enhance your body’s resilience, promote relaxation, and cultivate a deep connection with your pelvic floor. Each movement is thoughtfully crafted to address the physical and emotional aspects of wherever you may be in your birth experience, providing a holistic approach to birth preparation and postpartum recovery.

Our teaching is gender-affirming, body-positive, and consent-oriented. All bodies, sizes, and abilities are welcome and celebrated.

Saturday, June 8th, 3-5pm (in-studio)

Sliding-scale workshop pricing: $30-60.*
