Retreat Day: Yoga Nidra

Mindful Flow with Chandra:

This moderately-paced flow is welcoming for students of all levels. Class starts with a centering, slow warm-up, and usually includes some sun salutations, standing poses and a slow stretchy wind-down. Students are encouraged to go at their own pace, working with the body they have. Advanced options are offered for those who wish, and rest is encouraged for all when needed.

Yoga Nidra Retreat with Lexi:

This Yoga Nidra "Retreat" will be a chance to step out of the every day, and step into a zone of deep relaxation. The retreat will begin with gentle movement that will transition participants into a specific type of guided meditation called yoga nidra. Often translated as "yogic sleep", yoga nidra is a state of relaxation, where the body "sleeps", the mind remains conscious, and deep restoration and rejuvenation can take place. This retreat is suitable for all levels of experience.
