Beth Tascione

Yoga Teacher | Reiki

(she/her)

Yoga has floated in and out of Beth’s life since she was a curious 4-year-old, a stressed out teenager, and finally as an adult seeking some sense of inner peace. Studying at various yoga centers in NYC led her to experience the power of the practice to help her find inner connection, restore a sense of balance, and – simply –just be herself. Beth loves moving with her breath, exploring how the body can develop strength while maintaining a sense of flexibility and freedom, and the deepening awareness that yoga practice encourages. She creates centering and reflective yoga classes that are infused with thoughtful and creative asana sequencing, deep mindful breathing, and skillful alignment principles, weaving yoga philosophies throughout in an accessible way. She provides a safe and supportive environment where students can let go of day-to-day stresses, reconnect with themselves more fully, and realize their wholeness and perfection.

Beth likes teaching classes that focus on developing a skill of a pose, building awareness and strength, and that help people learn more about their bodies and themselves in the practice.  Her flow classes are slow, linked with the natural rhythm of the breath, leaving time to explore and feel into an action the class participants are working on.  She also loves teaching restorative yoga classes so that she can hold a sacred, safe space for folks to rest deeply and dial down their stress levels.
