Yin Yoga & Reiki Workshop

with Carolyn Ruszala and Beth Tascione

Join Carolyn and Beth for a yin yoga class infused with reiki. In yin yoga, poses are held for longer periods of time, up to several minutes. Carolyn will invite students to breathe and relax into the poses while Beth offers reiki. Come experience this unique blend of yin yoga + reiki class filled with love and kindness.

About Carolyn: 

Carolyn Ruszala, RYT 200, completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Mama Nirvana's in Easthampton in 2007 and her yin teacher training while she was living in San Diego. In addition to being a yoga instructor, Carolyn is also an elementary school teacher. She offers day and weekend yoga retreats and enjoys teaching gentle, yin, and restorative yoga classes, guided meditations, and mindfulness to children, adults, and families. Carolyn hopes to inspire and empower her students with self-love and self-care through her classes, workshops, and retreats. She hopes that together we can make the world a kinder, more compassionate, just place.

About Beth: 

Yoga has floated in and out of Beth’s life since she was a curious 4-year-old, a stressed out teenager, and finally as an adult seeking some sense of inner peace. Studying at various yoga centers in NYC led her to experience the power of the practice to help her find inner connection, restore a sense of balance, and very simply, just be herself. Beth loves moving with her breath, exploring how the body can develop strength while maintaining a sense of flexibility and freedom, and the deepening awareness that yoga practice encourages.  She creates centering and reflective yoga classes that are infused with thoughtful and creative asana sequencing, deep mindful breathing, and skillful alignment principles, weaving yoga philosophies throughout in an accessible way.  She provides a safe and supportive environment where students can let go of the day-to-day stresses, reconnect with themselves more fully, and realize their wholeness and perfection.
