2013 Yoga Teacher Training with Sara Rose includes Tantric Philosophy Workshop with Dr. Douglas Brooks and Anatomy & Therapeutics Workshop with Martin Kirk
This 6 month training begins with the premise that we must be skillful and accomplished students of yoga with a broad and strong foundation in the philosophy and history of yoga, the alignment principles and basic anatomy of asana practice, and that we must be steeped in our own consciousness through yoga, meditation and self-inquiry in order to become successful and effective teachers. We will continue to refine our asana practice and philosophy studies and teaching exercises, designing teaching curriculum, sequencing and more will become a regular part of our training for the next 6 months.
This YTT program includes monthly written homework assignments, readings from assigned texts, and practice teaching. The foundational philosophy and principles of alignment taught during the Yoga Immersion will be further refined, and you will learn to instruct poses clearly and succinctly, with language skills that inspire your students to express their poses from the inside out.
This is a sacred path, full of joy, challenge and abundant opportunities for expansion. You will learn to share your love of yoga with confidence and to imprint your classes with the dignity and beauty that lie within you.
