WHAT IS THE YOGA IMMERSION?
The Immersion Programis an invitation to deepen one‘s studentship by delving into the profound teachings of Yoga and Tantric philosophy. The intention is to refine our experience and understanding of all aspects of yoga and philosophy, and to learn to apply these empowering teachings to our every day lives. The Immersion is intended as the beginning of a lifelong journey of study, self-inquiry and practice which offer the promise of deep inner transformation, and the joy of unfolding our own deepest essence. Without the pressure of learning to teach, this course of study is a nourishing and important step on the path as a dedicated yoga student and an opportunity to deepen friendships with fellow students in a loving and supportive community.
While Yoga Sanctuary and its' main teachers are moving away from a legal affiliation with Anusara founder John Friend, we honor and cherish the beauty of these teachings still and will be offering all scheduled 2012 Anusara offerings. Expect a richer, more authentic and expansive experience than ever! Future Immersions/Intensives will be inspired by, but not limited to Anusara yoga. We are especially delighted to welcome North Carolina Teacher Sarah Faircloth to our Immersion faculty!
